Server installation
For information about installing Sitecore Adaptive Print Studio on the server, see the APS Server Installation Manual.
Prerequisites
- Windows Operating system (Windows Server 2003 (32/64-bit), Windows Server 2008 (32/64- bit), Windows Server 2008 R2 (32/64-bit).
- Please note that InDesign Server Engine CS6 for Windows requires 64-bit operating system.
- Internet Information Services 6 or higher is required to run the applications and web services.
- SMTP service is required to handle e-mail notifications.
- Microsoft Framework 3.5 or later.
- Windows MSMQ (Message Queuing).
- Sitecore 6.5.0 rev. 121009 (Update 6) or later version.
- InDesign Server CS5.5 or CS6 (optional - required for web-based PDF generation.) For more specifications, please visit www.Adobe.com.
Client installation
Prerequisites
- Windows or Mac OS (for more specifications, please visit www.Adobe.com).
- Adobe InDesign CS5.5 (v7.5 or higher) or CS6 (v8.0 or higher) for Windows or Mac. Make sure you installed the appropriate language version of InDesign.
